Quite a number of SDA youth have come out in support of the pastor who declared that non SDAs can’t march in the bridal team. Responding to and early post by user named Onyinkwa Onyakundi that insinuated SDA pastors are Jealous of other Churches. Below is how they responded on Facebook:
An SDA church is not a brothel or a club where people go necked to strip dance… The bible stipulates how somebody should dress in church… The church is not somewhere you go exposing your breasts, thighs or buttocks…. That’s why the pastor asked them to try those antics elsewhere…. And that’s what Jesus did exactly when he found people changing the church into something else… We have no apologies for that
Non SDA was not the real issue, they were asked to change what appeared to be indecent and were offered either to change and removed those heavy jewelry failure to which they can only escort the brides from afar….they started to heckle him and they were drunk and the pastor went overboard to eject those non SDAs altogether…
Are condemning the pastor against infiltration of apostasy in his church. That’s a minister of the SDA church who went every inch to uphold the sanctity of marriage. Like the biblical wedding, he ensured that those without the proper wedding attire were thrown out. The pastor was tipped that there were intruders into the wedding without proper wedding gown. Being the custodian of the tenets of the church he acted appropriately to guard the sanctity of the church.
The problem was in the ladies dresses, the length was okay but the upper part there boobs were exposed too much….let’s be honest…madam isn’t a young girl and I know she needed something classy but nguo za ladies aki wasn’t pleasing…the tailor advised her to change the design ya upper part and madam said no…let’s be honest ladies and gentlemen. Mbinguni hatuendi na kanisa Bali nyoyo Na matendo yetu.
You are a fool. Those ladies even if they wore long dresses, those dresses were very tight and revealed panty lines. Stop ignorantly saying they were rejected because they were Catholics, how on earth could the pastor know know who was SDA and who wasn’t in face value???
Dress code does not only mean the dress. hairstyle, make up etc, so in SDA hizo braids are not allowed, by the time Pastor is talking that way they had refused to obey and were speaking rudely. Ask those who were there physically.
Would the pastor have done the same if the non-Adventists were not Catholic? I see you trying to make it an SDA vs. Catholic tiff, and l think that’s not right. What the pastor did was inexcusable, regardless of what denomination/religion the non-Adventists belonged to. Let’s stick to that rather than trying to stoke an Adventist-Catholic feud.
