The amount of hostility from older women towards younger women living their best lives is quite frankly appalling and ghetto.
We don’t have to shame young girls for utilising their sexual agency at its most potent. Some of the girls talking trash about younger women and calling their older male partners as paedophiles, did the same ten years ago. We were there and witnessed it.
We can guide younger women to make smarter choices and make the best and most out of the peak of their biological potency. Shaming them is just garden variety roho chafu.
It is like broke mem trying to shame men with money with variety of women at their disposal. Hate the game. Not the player. I have been a broke male and I know it is unforgiving. Women whether 18 or 38, don’t mess with broke niggurs unless they are desperate.
Its All Choices!
A younger man, say 24, cannot access a woman his age. Especially if she hot. There are women who by 25, have visited the hottest spots in the country. Few men under 30 can afford to sponsor a girl to such a lifestyle. Women come preinstalled with value and their only prerogative is to preserve it. Many choose to damage it, but that is upon them as long they don’t try to “think-piece” themselves out of accountability. If she got a baby by a sketch baby daddy, that is not a male problem, it is a question of choices. The reason I am saying our only responsibility is try to remind our young nieces that one of evolution’s horrible quirks is that at her most most beautiful and sexy, she is at her most naive and foolish.
It will be unfair for a man who was overlooked by his female peers to make it at 35 and to try to shame him into pair women his age. No amount of think pieces and feminist outrage can change the facts of life. Women love men with money. Men with money tend to be older.
Living in Kitengela has taught me a woman above 30 can date and settle with of any age from 40 to 100. Just pop into any pub in Kitengela. There are 50+ women so much at home with women between 30-40. Surely it is not only women who get to to choose what men to date based on the economic strength if men, but men with Leonardo DiCaprio tastes ate being shamed.
Social invisibility is a fact of life for women as they grow older and for men as long as they are broke, and don’t work on themselves. Social invisibility is not a death sentence.
Women fought Social invisibility by constantly reinventing themselves, as mothers, grandmothers, community workers and in each ladder they scaled, their value increased. We don’t know yet what currency to attach to modern women who want to slay way into their 50s. They have hit the gym, they can afford cosmetic products that can cheat age, still afford them high-value men, or they can even buy. This is a new dynamic. It is the dynamic that gave rise to the derogatory terms as cougars and MILFs in the West. And Millennial women in Kenya are the first generation to have the ability of being a mother of two or three and still look sporty and sex.
But many such women refuse to accept that younger women in their early 20s are the first to be picked, and thus the shaming and hating on them.
It is unnecessary. Just live. Let young girls have their time. You did. Find the grace to love and guide them with love, not malice.
