In a stunning display of generosity and support, Christ is the Answer (CITAM) Ministries, a leading religious organization in Kenya, collected a record-breaking 1.57 billion Kenya shillings in the year 2021. The funds were raised through tithes and income from the organization’s commercial entities. This impressive feat speaks volumes about the commitment of CITAM members to contribute towards the betterment of their community and country at large.
Tithe from the various branches across the country made the highest share of contribution with Valley road, Woodley, Karen and Buruburu churches leading the way. Their school in Woodley and Woodley catering were also high income earners. The organization’s success in raising such a substantial amount of money is a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of its members.
Interestingly some centers had questionable income vs expenditure ratios. For example Hope Studios raised 44M and spent only 1 Million in the year. While Kiserian Carpentry spent 41,000 from income of 4 million. This left some Kenyans on twitter suspicious of the whole financial returns with some even poinying to laundering. Below are some tweets.
